Alain Garni qualified as an electrical technician in 2000 and spent ten years working in factories in the Grand-Est region (Sollac, Sovab, Citroën, etc.), mainly in the automotive and steel sectors. He left for Madagascar in 2010 as a site manager and then fleet and equipment manager, before joining the Metz Eurometropole on his return in 2020, firstly as a technical officer and then, after passing two civil service competitions and since 2022, as head of the logistics and security department. His responsibilities include managing the fleet of vehicles and equipment, as well as guarding the city's sites.
