Mercedes-Benz, a comprehensive range of vans and services
Mercedes-Benz Vans France is present in all segments, both internal combustion and 100% electric, and enjoyed a very dynamic year in 2024. In 2024, Mercedes-Benz Vans registered 20,357 new commercial vehicles in France (source: CCFA), up 12.4% on 2023, while the market remained virtually stable (+0.7%). Thanks to its attractive range and services, tailored to the needs of professionals, Mercedes-Benz is the second-largest importer of light commercial vehicles in France.
A range at the cutting edge of safety, 100% renewed
From the (e)Citan to the (e)Sprinter, via the (e)Vito, V-Class and EQV, the entire Mercedes-Benz range has undergone profound changes in 2024. In addition to all-new instrument panels and styling enhancements for the mid-size range (Vito, etc.), a host of driving aids are now standard on our vehicles, including Active Brake Assist. This assisted emergency braking system goes further than the requirements of the European GSR II standard: on the (e)Vito and (e)Sprinter and passenger transport derivatives, it can initiate emergency braking when passing another vehicle travelling at up to 60 km/h if an emergency situation is detected as you approach an intersection. Mercedes-Benz's safety expertise has been recognized by the Euro NCAP jury. The jury awarded the Citan, Vito and Sprinter the highest grade (Platinum) in the latest tests on driving aids.
A fully connected range
All our vehicles are hyperconnected as standard. The unlimited Comfort Pack includes, for example, maintenance management, accident and breakdown assistance, remote vehicle status consultation, remote diagnostics, software updates, remote vehicle diagnostics and interfacing with third-party services.
Mercedes-Benz Connectivity Services GmbH offers customized solutions based on Mercedes-Benz data for customers who want more than just the information provided in the Mercedes-Benz application, but also a fleet management tool. For customers requiring a turnkey fleet management tool, “connect your business” is a portal solution offered in partnership with selected service providers, requiring no hardware installation on vehicles. For customers who already have their own fleet management tool and wish to integrate vehicle data into it, “connect your fleet” provides vehicle data via an API for integration into an existing fleet management system.
Product news 2025
Van, cargo van or large pickup: the entire range is also available in electric version, including passenger transport versions (excluding the eSprinter). Like its smaller brothers, the eSprinter van is convincing more and more fleets, as it is now available in three battery sizes. In addition to the high level of expertise of the head office and network teams, Mercedes-Benz offers professionals the “eReady” tool, a chatbot enabling them to assess their degree of electro-accountability.
In 2025, Mercedes-Benz Vans will expand its portfolio in the S3 segment with chassis versions of the eSprinter. This year will also see the presentation of the top-of-the-range shuttle showcar, based on the new electric and evolutionary platform. Named VAN.EA (for Van Electrique Architecture), it will go into series production in 2026, first as a shuttle and then as a van.
