Picoty launches a new multi-energy card

Picoty launches the AVIA multi-energy, multi-service card to support the decarbonisation of business mobility. At the Rencontres Flotauto trade fair, energy supplier Picoty is launching a new version of the AVIA card, its vehicle fleet management card. Designed to meet the challenges of the energy transition, it has become a complete multi-energy solution, designed to support the decarbonisation of heavy and light mobility. ‘With the AVIA multi-energy card, we are providing a concrete response to the operational challenges faced by fleet managers, while maintaining efficiency, simplicity and cost control,’ says Mathias Schildt, Picoty's Managing Director. A multi-energy and digital approach For traditional fuels, the card will continue to be accepted at a network of nearly 1,500 Avia, BP and Esso stations across France, guaranteeing a dense and operational network. For electric recharging, the solution is based on a strategic partnership with Deftpower, a specialist in SaaS solutions for electric recharging. The AVIA card gives access to a network of over 100,000 charging points in France and 500,000 in Europe. It also includes an electronic toll and car park option, as well as offers on partner shops. With the AVIA card, Picoty also offers secure, configurable management solutions providing a consolidated view of consumption and making it easier to control costs. A mobile application called ‘AVIA VOLT Recharge & Vous’, dedicated to electric recharging, can be used to locate available charging points and initiate recharging in real time. A concrete commitment to decarbonising mobility A strategic move for Picoty, this new AVIA carte is part of its CAP 2030 energy transition plan, which aims in particular to increase the use of low-carbon energies. The aim is to achieve a 35% low-carbon energy mix by 2030 (compared with 8% today), with a 16% reduction in carbon intensity in the end markets served by Picoty. This trajectory is in line with France's national low-carbon strategy. For mobility, Picoty's energy sources will be electricity, liquid biofuels, BioGNV and hydrogen.
