Ligier Professional launches its new Pulse 2 cargo bike

With its new cargo bike, the Pulse 2, Ligier Professional offers an efficient and sustainable solution for urban logistics professionals. Ligier Professional's range of utility vehicles has been designed to address the challenges of urban delivery: fleet management, traffic, noise pollution, parking, downtime, and more. The brand supplies mail and parcel distributors across Europe (France, Portugal, Belgium, Monaco, Italy), as well as local governments, craftsmen, transporters, and large industrial sites. The newest addition to the Ligier Professional range, the Pulse 2 cargo bike, has been specifically designed for intensive daily use. Thanks to its excellent maneuverability and adaptable rear containers, it is the ideal partner for last-mile delivery professionals. Available in size S or size M, it offers a payload capacity of up to 150 kg and boasts a range of 40 kilometers. Production of this new model will begin in the first quarter of 2025. Designed for intensive use The reinforced chassis of the Pulse 2 is common to both vehicle sizes at the front and specific at the rear. This design provides numerous benefits: improved reparability and consistent ergonomics for the user, regardless of the model. Its robustness also stems from its DNA, with 43% of its parts derived from its predecessor, the Pulse 3, which is highly praised across Europe for its reliability. In terms of transmission, the new Pulse 2 is equipped with Valéo's system, featuring a 7-speed automatic gearbox that uses a motorcycle-style chain between the engine and the differential. Its hubs, fork, and wheels are borrowed from the scooter industry. The vehicle has successfully passed the rigorous UTAC testing procedures. Agility and maneuverability Offering great stability both at rest and in motion, the Pulse 2 is just as maneuverable when empty as it is when fully loaded. It also boasts an excellent turning radius (1826 mm for size S and 2030 mm for size M). Access to the cockpit is highly ergonomic, with a low Q-Factor allowing for easy mounting and no obstacles between the saddle and the handlebars. The Pulse 2 accommodates all body types, thanks to its wide, gel-padded saddle mounted on silent blocks to minimize vibrations. The position of the motor, located beneath the rear chassis, also plays a key role in user comfort. This design reduces the step-over height, shortens transmission lengths, and lowers noise levels at the control post.
