Road and Hitachi Rail launch their One Ticket solution for recharging and parking
Road, Hitachi Rail and Madic Industries launch ‘One Ticket’: a solution that simplifies parking and recharging for electric vehicles.
Road, Hitachi Rail and Madic Industries, announce the launch of ‘One Ticket’, an innovative solution that revolutionises the user experience in car parks by integrating the parking and charging of electric vehicles (EVs). From now on, with a single car park ticket, EV drivers can access charging points, initiate the process and settle their payment in a seamless, centralised manner.
A response to the challenges of electric mobility
Car parks, which are essential to the development of electric mobility, are often a source of frustration for drivers: complex access systems, unavailable charging points and unclear charges. These obstacles limit the adoption of EVs and slow down the transition to more sustainable mobility. To address these issues, Road, Hitachi Rail and Madic Industries have pooled their expertise. ‘One Ticket’ now offers EV drivers a simplified experience thanks to a single car park ticket enabling: access to charging stations; the start of the charging process; centralised and seamless payment for parking and recharging.
A reliable, transparent solution
The reliability of the charging stations is a central pillar of this solution. With real-time monitoring, any technical problems are identified and resolved quickly, guaranteeing optimum service. ‘Keeping chargepoints operational is essential to ensuring a smooth user experience. Thanks to proactive maintenance, we can ensure that every charge takes place under the best possible conditions,’ explains Thierry Troncy, Alternative Energies Market Manager at Madic Industries. Transparent pricing is also at the heart of ‘One Ticket’. Drivers can consult the prices (per consumption, per duration or as a package) before recharging, eliminating any uncertainty.
A partnership serving the ecological transition
‘By integrating parking and recharging on the same support, we are simplifying drivers‘ daily lives and supporting the transition to sustainable mobility,’ says Kenza Joual, Product Owner Smart Parking at Hitachi Rail. ‘With real-time supervision, we can guarantee continuity of service and an optimised user experience,’ adds Aymeric Bireau, Sales France at Road. This ambitious partnership is in line with Europe's objectives of making sustainable mobility accessible and seamless.
