Acta Prevention: A Standardized Approach

Acta Prevention: A Standardized Approach Acta Prevention’s mission is to support businesses in changing their employees’ driving behavior. Based on AFNOR standards*, Acta Prevention’s training and prevention programs aim to enhance drivers’ skills and initiate change within companies. This educational approach operates on three levels: raising awareness, improving skills, and ensuring long-term skills maintenance. Acta Prevention’s efforts extend to all employees, whether they are mobile or not. ### **Raising Awareness** The first level involves identifying risks, understanding expectations, self-reflection, and accepting rules or constraints—essential conditions to initiate behavioral change in drivers. To achieve this, Acta Prevention continuously raises awareness through engaging, educational, and practical content; shares simple techniques and rules that can be applied daily without disrupting employees’ activities; and fosters a culture of prevention to build employee buy-in and cohesion. ### **Improving Skills** The second level addresses regulations, vehicles, technologies, and driving techniques, which are constantly evolving. The knowledge acquired during driving license training is insufficient, especially for professional trips. Driving as part of work requires employees’ skills to be regularly assessed and updated. Acta Prevention provides training through online and in-person solutions, enabling all drivers to participate in skill-enhancement programs and delivering a unified pedagogical framework for all. Ensuring Long-Term Skills Maintenance This third level targets companies aiming to implement a comprehensive approach for their drivers. Sustainable skill improvement in driving requires an initial analysis of the situation and a structured process to achieve realistic objectives. Acta Prevention’s method involves supporting clients in their communication to foster engagement; helping them involve and empower managers in project deployment; and providing individual and collective indicators to suggest corrective actions. *Standards: NF X50-162 governing the activity of prevention specialists and NF R14-711 governing eco-driving consulting and training activities.
