The Defa Power charging station keeps its promises. Up to 22 kW, it doesn't lose power, even in the hottest weather. That's because it doesn't heat up, but dissipates heat. This charging station enables three-phase charging at up to 22 kW, at any time. The user interface features an integrated display that provides step-by-step information on the charging process. Thanks to the integrated charging cable, the user doesn't have to remove the charging cable from the car and replace it after charging, sometimes several times a day. Simply connect the cable to the car. From installation to day-to-day use, the display helps you enjoy a better electric vehicle charging experience.
Ready for the future
The latest OCPP* protocol (2.0.1) offers seamless integration between charging station and backend system, which are completely independent of each other. It also enables intelligent charging and price optimization, advanced monitoring and diagnostics, and a whole new level of information security. With OCPP 2.0.1, Defa Power is ready both for Plug&Charge, automated access control between the car and the charging station, and for Vehicle to grid (V2G), where energy can be fed back from the car's battery to the grid.
Full dynamic load balancing
By opting for the Defa Balancer system with the Defa Power terminal, the home's electricity consumption is measured in real time, and the available capacity is delegated to the car's recharging. This is known as full dynamic load balancing. To achieve this, the Defa Balancer communicates directly with the fuse box, actively measures phase output power and allocates power more efficiently. When less power is needed in the home, for example at night, more energy is available to recharge the vehicle. This means greater flexibility and even faster charging. Without increasing power. Last but not least, Defa cables, designed for the Scandinavian environment, remain flexible, resistant and efficient from -40°c or +50°c. They are durable and impervious to rain, snow and mildew.
