Wednesday 31 January 2024

A new model from Cadillac, the LYRIQ has been designed to reinvent the premium electric vehicle experience. The result is a luxurious design and cutting-edge technologies.

Cadillac Europe, which already offers its 100% electric vehicles in Switzerland and Sweden, launches the Cadillac LYRIQ in France in the first quarter of 2024. The brand will take advantage of the Rencontres Flotauto in Paris to unveil its new LYRIQ. "Cadillac's electric offering has never been more attractive, thanks to its bold design, high-performance Ultium battery platform, optimized software, industrial know-how and outstanding customer experience," said Cédric Langer, Director of Business Development and Partnerships. We're delighted to offer an exceptional choice to our customers in Europe, as the region moves forward in its electrification journey.

530 km range
The LYRIQ is the embodiment of the innovative spirit that has made Cadillac so successful. It has been designed to reinvent the premium electric vehicle experience, with state-of-the-art equipment and technologies. Its 12-module, 102 kWh battery and two electric motors should deliver, according to GM estimates, a range of 530 km on a full charge and 528 hp. Thanks to its bold design, the LYRIQ stands out from other vehicles in the premium segment, making it the ideal choice for the European market.

Luxury and technology
The Cadillac LYRIQ is a harmonious combination of sculptural and flowing surfaces. The front of the vehicle has been designed to give the impression that the headlamps merge into a crystalline black grille. The fully glazed roof extends all the way to the roof spoiler, which is a key design element and promotes aerodynamics. Inside, the LYRIQ blends wood and metal surfaces with intricate laser-engraved patterns that echo the grille design. The large, curved LED screen blends seamlessly with the fluid design of the cabin, while speakers, lighting and decorative elements form a harmonious whole.
Numerous features are also provided to enhance the experience of drivers and passengers, such as Cadillac's Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving assistance system, which we plan to deploy in Europe once we have the required approvals. But also active noise suppression technology, which makes journeys more peaceful.
