Road, a specialist in electric vehicle charging management, unveils its partnership with Kia Netherlands in the Netherlands. In France, the company appoints Maxime Delahaie as the Country Manager.

Road, a European leader in the management of electric vehicle transactions and charging, announces its collaboration with the South Korean automotive manufacturer Kia Netherlands. The goal of this partnership is to provide charging management solutions through the new Kia Charge service. The choice of Road as a key partner in the Netherlands by Kia is explained by its extensive expertise in software and services. At the same time, Road strengthens its commitment to the French market by appointing Maxime Delahaie as the Country Manager for France.

Commencement of Cooperation in the Netherlands
Road will oversee the management of charging stations, playing a crucial role in Kia's bidirectional and intelligent charging service in the Netherlands in 2024. This collaboration will enable Kia Netherlands to become a charging point operator (CPO) and manage its own network of charging stations. Launched as part of Kia's "Plan S" strategy, Kia Charge marks a significant step in the realization of the brand's commitment to electric mobility. Leveraging Road's expertise in software and services, Kia Netherlands will offer advanced energy management solutions, including Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G). Through the Road Private Label offering, Kia will be able to integrate customized options.

Road, Technological Partner for Automakers
Road's platform, compatible with all brands, offers Kia customers in the Netherlands simplified migration and management. "We chose Road for the reliability and robustness of its software and services," said Léan Verstoep, CEO of Kia Netherlands. "By integrating our electric cars into the user's ecosystem, we will not only make electric driving more accessible but also actively contribute to a more sustainable long-term future by using cleaner energy sources and without network congestion," added Verstoep. "We work with leading partners like Road to help us achieve our goal."

A Common Commitment
Jesse Stuiver, Road's Director for the Benelux, emphasized the company's common commitment to shaping the future of sustainable transportation. "This transition concerns everyone, and financial transactions are at its core. We will expand our offering with Kia Netherlands, which will deliver a bidirectional home charging system next year." Road positions itself as a key player in establishing critical infrastructure for electric vehicle charging transactions in Europe.

Road Strengthens its Presence in Europe
Road has appointed Maxime Delahaie as the Country Manager for France. With over five years of experience in the IoT and digital sector, he previously held the position of Sales Manager EMEA at AddSecure, a leader in IoT security, and Country Manager for France at DUALTECH IT France. He has also held commercial roles in other sectors such as health and hygiene, always linked to technological innovation. "Our platform is designed to make electric mobility accessible to everyone," explained Maxime Delahaie. "We firmly believe that electric mobility is the future, and Road will play a key role in the electrification of the market through innovation."

Road recently launched in France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and the United Kingdom to support the growth of electric vehicles. The company aims to facilitate the development of an electric vehicle charging ecosystem through simplified transaction and payment solutions.
